The SIBAC circuit (Integrated System of Environmental and Cultural Assets of Cefalù) and integrated ticket “Visit Cefalù – Mandralisca Museum” are on the way.
From yesterday 13 April 2021 it is possible to visit with a single ticket of 10 euros some places of culture of the Integrated System of Environmental and Cultural Assets of the City of Cefalù (SIBAC).
Therefore, you can visit the following cultural sites with a single ticket for 10 euros, which will be valid for 5 days from the date of issue.

MUNICIPAL THEATRE “SALVATORE CICERO”

OPENING HOURS:

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, including public holidays
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
From 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE OF THE ROMAN ROAD

OPENING HOURS:

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, including public holidays
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
From 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

ARCHEOLOGICAL PARK OF THE ROCCA

OPENING HOURS:

Open everyday, including public holidays
From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

MANDRALISCA MUSEUM

OPENING HOURS:

Open every day, including public holidays
From 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

MEDIEVAL WASH-HOUSE

OPENING HOURS:

Open evryday, including public holidays
From 9 a.m. to midnight.

The entrance tickets can be purchased, in cash or by credit card and ATM, exclusively at the automatic ticket machines present at:
– entrance to the Rocca Archaeological Park;
– Mandralisca Museum;
– Cicero Theatre;
– Tourist information desk at the railway station;
– Visitor Center of Corso Ruggero n.79. which will remain open: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will always be possible to buy single tickets for the various sites.
For legal reasons, it is NOT possible to pay the staff present in the various sites. For issues related to the current COVID-19 legislation and until new provisions, the “Medieval Wash” will remain open access, with a guard for security reasons, from 9 a.m. to Midnight every day of the week.

MUSEO MANDRALISCA

The Mandralisca museum, preserves within its ancient walls the artistic heritage and the legacy of memories of Enrico Pirajno di Mandralisca. Inside there are two recognized masterpieces: the magnificent Portrait of Man, by Antonello da Messina and the red-figured Siceliot crater on a black background called “Seller of tuna“.
The Museum is located in via Mandralisca, 13, in one of the streets of the historic center of Cefalù, a few meters from the Cathedral of the Norman town.

ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK OF LA ROCCA

Tourists can not miss the walk on the Rocca of Cefalù. It is a spectacular cliff overlooking Cefalù and from which the city took its name. It has an altitude of 270 meters.
Most of the route is exposed to the sun, so not recommended in the middle hours of summer days.
It is recommended to give priority to the spring or autumn months, when the right colors and the right light will make a difference.

MUNICIPAL THEATRE ``SALVATORE CICERO``

 The Municipal Theatre “Salvatore Cicero” is a typical Italian theatre in the shape of Horseshoe. Completed by architect Antonio Caruso. Headquarters of the German troops during the Second World War. In 1986 it becomes a film set of the director Giuseppe Tornatore in the famous Oscar-winning 1989 movie “Nuovo Cinema Paradiso”

ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF THE ROMAN ROAD

During the construction of the complex of the Court of the Stars was found a stretch of Roman road oriented in the NE-SO direction, dated in the first century a.c. is paved with sandstone slabs and preserved for about 6 meters long and just over half in width.

MEDIEVAL WASH HOUSE

The medieval wash house in late Renaissance style is certainly one of the monuments of Cefalù that arouse most curiosity. Below the rocky promontory, which is the frame of Cefalù, flows the river “Cefalino” that after an underground path flows into the sea.
