The organised excursion includes crossing the Gorge with a raft and a stroll along Pollina river. During the activity it is possible to admire the flora and the wildlife typical of the river environment.

The excursions could be suspended in the days where the weather and river conditions do not allow safely traversing by raft.

La Rocca for the whole day (controlled resting spot, bathroom, dressing rooms, showers, tables and barbecues). Additionally, in the area there is a coffee shop/sandwich shop and a shop to buy shoes for the excursions. A guided visit to San Mauro Castelverde historical centre is included in the price.
How to reach it
- By car, you can arrive directly to a controlled car park in the equipped area La Rocca. From this point on you will use a bus (round-trip) until the starting point of the excursion at approximately 0,500 km.
- By bus:
Exit A 20 Castelbuono (Pa) or Tusa (Me);
follow the direction for Finale di Pollina;
After exiting the town (if you arrived from Castelbuono) or before the town (if you arrived from Tusa); go in SP 52 for San Mauro Castelverde (Pa), after 8 km (Borrello junction); turn right and continue on SP 60 for 1,5 km until Tiberio junction where buses stop. From this point on you will go by bus (round-trip) until the starting point of the excursion, approximately 1,50 km.
